In Praise Of Small Cigars

18 Jun

nfc capMy “luxury” problem consists in having too many large sized cigars and, except for the summer months or the pharmacy meetings, no proper time to smoke and enjoy them.

What I’m always in need of are small, ca. 1 hr sized cigars, that I can smoke in my Cafe or the pub.

So, I’m always in search of good lil’ Habanos.

I just finished a supply of around 250 Siglo I I brought from Havana the last visits there, good stuff.

Went through a box of Bolivar Nr 3 Tubos, a delicious lil’ smoke that is larger than it seems and especially yummy at coffee time. Marvellous.

Been through half a box of Montecristo Nr 5 that are also good but can’t compare with the last of my 10 or so aged RASCC boxes that also have gone up in smoke – I sorely miss them.

So I’m always happy to receive new supply from the “small and tasty front”.

Like these new arrivals lately : Partagas Aristocrats, RyJ Mille Fleurs, Rafael Gonzalez Perlas, RyJ Nr Nr 1, Quintero Panetelas and some, admittedly larger and very chocolaty, H.Upmann Noellas that are going into storage …

I have been enjoying the HDM Palmas Extras and Partagas Super Partagas as inexpensive smaller smokes. The Aristocrats treated me well also. Many people like the RG Perlas but the are not my taste.

      Thanks for the tip, Stargazer14,

will be on my “futures” list … 🙂 – the Perlas are quite nice for me.

Glad to see someone else enjoys the Perlas.
I am also a big fan of the Panatelas Extra. The quality really belies the bargain price.
