Extremely Rare Cohibas on Valentine’s Day

14 Feb

nfc capOK, so I gave my wife a nice flower bouquet this morning and a 4 course menu with Champagne and wines has been reserved for Saturday in celebration of another nice event.

But this box is strictly a “men’s only” pleasure, I suppose.

An extremely rare box of early diplomatic production Cohibas containing 48 beautifully preserved and cellophaned Coronas Especiales gifted to a foreign personality by the Cuban government made its way into my hands.

It was welcomed in style after origin and provenience were established as genuine.

A true collector’s item you might read about.

And, yes, I’m off to Havana again and while I will attend the XV Festival del Habano there, don’t expect to see these beauties at the Gala dinner or the box at the auction …

Amazing! First time I’ve ever even seen a box of those with those bands.

      Thanks Dara & Michel,

date/age can be established as 1968-9’ish I believe, rather ’69 I’d venture, but there are better experts than me out there … what do I know about cigars, no expert here, just a smoker 🙂

      Best / Nino

Amazing Nino. What age are they ? (The font used for Cohiba looks like a 60s style)
