A great guy, one of the most passionate cigar makers I know and a good friend was with
us again for a few days.

Didier v. Houvenaghel of Nicarao Cigars www.nicaraocigars.com/en/ came to visit us and stayed in the village while touring Europe again presenting his cigars.

One of the events was organized by the Cigar Cult Club in Wiesbaden and I took the chance to show him around the lovely city before we sat down for a talk and tasting of his cigars.

The venue is a great restaurant and bar with some additional lounges in the top floors
like the George Sand Bar where we held the tasting.

Some 35 interested and inquisitive fellow smokers joined us for a long evening of a short expose by Didier followed by a Q&A session with him and the tasting of a Nicarao Toro as well as a Nicarao Exclusivo.

A great event that was appreciated by all.

The next day Didier attended the 100-th anniversary of a cigar store in nearby Hofheim
where he had been commissioned to supply the cigars for the celebration, again a most successful event.
