New Aged Habanos for 2015

17 Dec

nfc capHere’s the official presentation today of the new Aged ( Añejados ) line by Habanos SA to start hitting the shelves in 2015.

They have been aged in boxes and range from 5 to 8 years old.

The new vitolas will be : Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados and Montecristo Churchills Añejados.

Both vitolas are new to the Marcas and will be released in limited quantities.

I had the chance to see them last November in Havana both in real life boxes as well as in mastercases and get some information on the idea behind the release.

I remember the launch of a similar/same aged Habanos programme back in November 2011 at the Partagas Welcome Night.

We received an aged HdM Hoyo des Dieux if I remember correctly which didn’t impress us much.

Here’s some detailed pictures of the new launch.

    Mister Nino,

    Congrats for your superb site.

An odd question for you: where do you recommend NOT buying cigars in Havana? Apart from street vendors naturally.

    thx

      Hi Marcos,

well I basically only buy from the LCDH’s and custom rollers in Havana.

To be honest, I could not tell you where NOT to buy, except maybe at the airport ( more expensive ).

Avoid street vendors or anyone with a shady story like the plague they are, use common sense and information/knowledge – buy only from LCDH’s.

      Amen / Nino

Thank you. What about those creeping stories that even in the LCDH’s you could end up buying fake smoke?
