La Terraza Grill Restaurant – Centro Asturiano

Funny I have never mentioned this fine grill restaurant in my blog despite eating there regularly since 2011 when Punch Joe took me there.
It is located on the terrace of the Centro Asturiano in Prado 309 right next to the Parque Central Hotel.
Along with El Templete this is one of the few exceptionally good state run places, the management running this locale also runs Castropol by the Malecon with as good a reputation as La Terraza.
Certainly there is no better ( or larger ) grilled octopus to be had in Havana. And the lamb shoulder is just fantastic as are the pork cutlets.
Just ask my Canuck buddies … 🙂
And thanks to Chris we found La Terraza to have one the best and best priced malt lists in Havana.
Service is good and the view from the terrace is spectacular.
Never had a bad meal here and always have enjoyed it, so : about time it was posted !
