Havana May/June – Cigar At Partagas

It was a daily routine/ritual that I am happy we all enjoyed – a morning cigar and possibly the best cafecito in town at the Partagas VIP smoking lounge.

Grecia, Odalys, Heriberto, La China and all staff would be very welcoming and we would plan the day’s activities over a good cigar.

The lounge was almost always quite empty and a relief in the blazing heat of the week that David and Jan were there and later a dry heaven away from the solid rain showers that fell the last week I was in town.

There is still planning going on to convert this historical building into a cigar/tobacco museum and I hope it becomes one before it deteriorates further. The building deserves to be preserved for history.
