ANS – Food Football And Beer … plus Fun & Cigars

10 Apr

nfc capNot bad for a Monday …

What can be better than start the week enjoying some artisanal beer right from next town, natural and unfiltered, tasty and refreshing.

You sure needed that – plus other plentiful beverages – to wash down the amount of food brought in by friends.

Talk about a dull Monday.

We had sausages, cheeses, best pure Ukrainian lard by Vitaly, a delicious game pate by Josef and finished off as usual with a hot and spicy Hackbraten, meat loaf, by Axel.

Digestive spirits were needed ( and found ) after all this gargantuan buffet.

Andreas was specially happy, so happy he let go a firework in the backyard illuminating the village for his beloved Hertha BSC managed to win the match that put the old lady back into first division or Bundesliga.

Well done you blue/white dwarfs !!

I managed to get home early, halfway sober and in one piece, only due to the fact that I was driving up to Cologne next day to meet Frank.

A great Monday it was.

And for the German version of the evening, please go to Michael’s blog :

      I’ll watch it,

let’s see … not really a Bayern fan myself 🙂

But I guess they should pass the test.
