Having an after dinner cigar and brandy on the terrace while reading „Puro Humo” / „Holy Smoke” by Cabrera Infante – one of the best books on the subject of cigars in history.
Very silent overhead, the aircraft are missing. Not all ash is as harmless as cigar ash.
The skies over central Europe have been closed to air traffic for some time now and it causes me pain to see my colleagues grounded.
Heard in the news that, for the first time in history, all company aircraft were on the ground.
Hoping air travel is resumed soon and wishing all crews a happy landing.
