Fish & Chips In Style – Nassauer Hof Wiesbaden

It was a public holiday yesterday here in Germany, the weather is continously lousy and we needed some cheering up.

So we, a small group of friends, met for cigars, conversation and excellent drinks at the superbly cozy cigar lounge of the Wiesbaden Nassauer Hof hotel.

Andreas gave the award-winning barman Mr Hahner a free hand in concocting extremely tasty cocktails and in-between cigars we had delicious fish & chips wrapped in style ( OK, it was not exactly a copy of the Daily Mirror nor the Daily Worker, but close enough ).

Cigars were also outstanding, among them the RyJ 130 Anniv. Salomones.

Returning home to the village, Andreas and I, literally, closed the Cafe Fritz bar having some refreshing Rosechorle before calling it a night.

A truly nice evening with the buddies.

Next Saturday we will dress down and meet at the local pub for cigars watching the Champions league final in Wembley.

Truly blessed around here for good places …
