Havana – Frank In Havana – Part One
17 Mar
Ok, so he doesn’t really seem to be impressed to be in Havana at all.
In pictures we look sort of like Walther Matthau and Jack Lemmon.
He doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the cigar show.
He actually likes to be on his own, and to him getting a feel of reality is more valuable than the Festival circus – my kind of guy.
Welcome to Cuba Frank !
His Standard Spanish Introduction : Me llamo Frank, soy de Belgica, Belgica es un … pais !
Here’s Frank, my Havana/Cuba travel companion.
Real happy he shared time & space with me !
Nino
I got a feeling that we will be doing this again my friend with even less of the bull-shit. Loved every minut of it.
Frank, you couldn’t have gotten a better tour guide than Nino! I had been to Cuba a number of times before, both via the typical “tourist” trips/means, and as a bit of an insider. Yet, a bunch of us Canadians definitely had fun meeting up with him at some additional little-known spots, and meeting some other people unknown to me prior. Even with a number of Cuban trips under my belt, I didn’t have as much fun as I did until last November with the Canadian crew we have now, and meeting up with Nino, Rob Ayala, Rob Fox, Rob Schildt, Hamlet, et al. It definitely looks like he took you around to some great spots, and introduced you to some great people. Many good friends down there. Nino, good on you for continuing to share your knowledge to others.
