"nfcThe best for last – this is the last post on the Cuba trip.

The best paladar, my opinion, in Havana right now.

Osmany, the owner/cook spent some long years cooking at the French embassy and renovated a beautiful, airy and elegant house in Vedado as the home of Starbien.

The food is great and I’ve never had better or more tender Masas de Cerdo in Cuba before nor better Pulpo al Ajillo or the tasty Cobo ( Conch meat ).

Even for someone on the sour side like me : The desserts are also to die for

Having had some 20 meals there in 3 weeks, invited friends for lunch there, even had take-away food from them, I believe it shows how much I liked their cuisine, the quiet oasis-like atmosphere of the house and the first class service.

Highly recommended.
