"nfcIt’s nice to be preparing my warm Cuba stuff while it’s snowing outside and it’s bitter cold here.

One item that brings warm memories is the AmiCigar polo shirt that arrived today from Italy at the pharmacy courtesy of my friend Gino aka Mr Japan, patrone of the Italian Cigar Brotherhood.

I always leave half of my suitcase in Cuba and give away, literally, my shirts there, so I gave my last AmiCigar polo to friends after the last Baseball match.

Gino just sent me a new one that I will wear proudly before once again leaving it there.

Should frame it like Andreas has done, nice idea.

He also kindly sent us the first AmiCigar pins – Grazie Gino !

Something I will receive in Havana are the new cigar bands I had printed in Spain – my friend Adrian will bring them for me from Spain and I look forward to place them on good custom rolled cigars – maybe a bundle or two from the great roller Santos who will be retiring this month …

Also bought some torches at Peter Heinrichs during my last visit in Cologne – Frank bought 10, I am taking a few myself – funny how almost nobody will have a torch in Havana and asks for yours, and I’m talking foreign cigar visitors not locals.

The locals will get them, always a nice present for friends and rollers along with cutters, cigar cases, cigar scissors, plus the more important basic stuff like medicine etc.

Getting warm just thinking about going back …
