""This Monday we didn’t have Whisky – I went for a good and smooth Spanish Brandy, my favourite, the Torres 10 year old, my staple Brandy.

Andreas put on his best shoes and most colourful socks and we had another good chat & fun session in the lab.

I shared the Tabacalera 1881 Gran Reserva Robustos that were sent to me by Lohcifer from S’pore, 20 yr old Philippine tobacco, very mild, almost too excessive draw, a good change of pace from the Cubans.

But after finishing the Tabacalera we noticed that we were still “tobacco hungry” and a box of Trinidad Ingenios ’07 EL was opened by Andreas.

Draw was on the hard side but the tobacco was peppery and full bodied.

Suited the Eiswein that we also had, although I passed it in favour of the Torres chocolate & vanilla.

Will miss these Monday’s in Havana …
