""Last Monday at the pharmacy as always, this time complemented by a short visit by the local doctor and her dog.

No whisky this Monday, we kept it simple and had beers and 2 bottles of Alsatian Eau de Vie. Cigars were 2 custom rolled Habanos.

First a real drumstick, good after the first third and quite rich to the nub. Second a Laguito Nr 1, a very difficult vitola, that came out just peaches & cream, absolutely dreamlike smoke.

I also received a box of 5 Philippine Tabacalera 1881 Gran Reserva Robustos, yet to be released, hand rolled from 22 year old tobacco, in a beautiful hand-carved humidor courtesy of Lohcifer, a fellow Singaporean blogger.

A very generous present from his last flight to Manila and a visit to the Tabacalera cigar manufacturers there.

Thank you Lohcifer ! Next Monday will be a Brandy & Canonazos evening ….
