We would have late breakfast, go to TST for iced tea and cigars at the Sheraton LCDH, have a good foot massage and do the tourist stuff at the Temple Street night market, buying silly t-shirts, chess boards and genuine jade ear rings for the wife assisted by MRN’s good wife.

One planned cinema visit with Min Ron Nee and his wife to watch “Sully” turned into a slapstick comedy – Frank and I were taken by the cab to the wrong cinema in Mongkok, MRN picked us up there and we arrived late at the right IMAX cinema only to find out that the online ticket reservation we made was for the wrong day, the day before…

So MRN’s wife suggested we all go to Elements in TST and there we enjoyed a good dinner at Kowloon Tang’s, fresh air, good conversations and good cigars. Splendid !

Dinners at Min Ron Nee’s home were fantastic, excellent food, good company and great champagnes followed by vintage cigars like the HdM Generes de Gener discontinued in the 70’s and some sticks Frank and I brought with us.

Where can you possibly find a 1936 Quaich from the Entebbe/Uganda Golf club ….

We had once again the chance to admire the second edition, which is basically finished and ready to roll out but the decision to print it lies with MRN and he will announce it in due course.

I gave Min Ron Nee an historical full cigar jar containing the short-lived original first-banded Cohibas – no better home for it.

He was kind enough to present us with his signed first edition and also some signed boxes, among them the newly released PCC ER Revolucion, a cigar that we enjoyed smoking at the Sheraton.

We met Simon who kindly brought us cigars from Cigar Divan in Central to the Tsim Sha Tsui LCDH and joined us for a cigar. Thank you Simon !!

The last day we relaxed at MRN’s home and had a light lunch with our hosts before leaving for the airport with enough time to smoke a PL PC at the observation deck overlooking the gates and the busy runway.

The flight home was as comfortable as ever, good dinner, drinks and lots of sleep.

It was autumn when we landed in Frankfurt, summer is over here.

But we sat in my terrace with some coffee smoking a HdM Generes with Hong Kong, our kind and generous hosts and this impressive trip in our minds.

Nino

The last three days of our visit were quiet and relaxed, we missed J & T but we did a “copy ‘n paste” of last year’s trip experiences.
