During this trip we had the chance to visit La Corona factory and given the opportunity to have an hour long exchange with many interesting facts and background with Osmar, the former director of this factory who is preparing himself for a job rotation where he will be the HSA representative in Germany.

I believe this was a highly informative bonus that we received after the tour, as he was able to give us background information and figures as well as a broad insight into the factory production and we were able to ask for details on what we had seen during the visit.

The visit was guided by Odalys, the lectora or reader of the factory and she took us to all departments while explaining all the steps in the production. Very extensive and insightful tour that she gave us.

I was specially happy to meet Fidel, the roller that was on tour last year in Germany and attended a pharmacy cigar evening in my village, he is busy rolling Piramides while his son rolling behind him is dedicated to the Montesco vitola. Also happy to meet my long-time friend Omar, rolling, smiling and happy as always.

A very productive and highly interesting morning !
