During this trip, we paid a few visits to the ever expanding Humidores Habana workplace, the energetic guys and expert craftsmen behind the inspiration and passion of Jose Ernesto Aguilera, the artist and creator of it all.

It was inspiring to see what private enterprise and professionalism can achieve, especially under difficult conditions. The place is expanding by the week and becoming more specialized and modern.

We had the chance to see the newly manufactured Punch Supremo ER Switzerland humidors that will be released to the Swiss market next year.

An outstanding, and very creative interpretation of the Punch model, manufactured as a cigar press with space for two drawers of 25 Supremos Suiza each. I loved it, and I look forward to its release.

Further to this cigar : courtesy of Andy Stachl of La Corona I had the chance to attend a tasting of this Regional Edition at La Guarida in Havana a few days later that further strengthened my resolve to get both the cigars and the humidor.

A separate post on that tasting event will follow soon.

My appreciation to both Yannick and Andy for the great insights !
