Havana May 2019 – Hole In The Wall – Bistro La Fourchette

This is a recently opened small Bistro located on the corner of 1st Ave and 24th St. in Miramar.

It is run by Enrique Suarez, the chef and owner at Tocamadera, a superb small Paladar also located in Miramar.
That alone guarantees fresh, organic natural market cuisine.

The concept as he explained it is that La Fourchette caters to the midday crowd looking for a quick and healthy lunch with only a few fresh items as options next to a main course. It offers a Sunday Brunch.

The place is small and cosy, service is very attentive and quality is excellent.

We were there for a quick bite and selected the Burger which was very good.

The dessert, a Crème Caramel Spanish-style custard pie attracted me and it was delicious.

The place is a/c but there is a small terrace up front to sit and smoke outside ( of course empty in the scorching heat ).

I am very fond of Enrique’s cooking and his innovative approach – I can only recommend both places for their quality food.
