Cuban Family Meals And Cigars
22 Dec
This trip was truly unique in that we spent most of the time involved in our “Cuban life”, both Yannick and me having many great and long-time friends in many areas of the Cuban society, mostly the tobacco area but also other segments of everyday life on the island.
This is a pictorial gallery of the fun we had in this “Cuban” part of our trip.
From fun at El Palenque with the “twins” and our short-time female driver – btw : disgusting food quality at El Palenque lately, I would NOT advise to eat there – to a shirts off half day long lunch of Chicharrones and Masas de Cerdo with a bottle of Santiago 11 and the best cigars in a private backyard to the tasty dinner we offered our friends and their families at El Rejoneo with the tunas we caught on our fishing trip to hosting them at our Casa particular and sharing precious moments with them.
Memorable moments of true friendship and good spirit that can only be achieved when you go beyond the facade of tourist Cuba.
Looking forward to my 2015 trips.
Gracias familia y hasta muy pronto !
